In this tour, you will visit Cairo, one of the largest cities in Africa. It is chaos at its best magnificent, beautiful and infuriating.Then we will drive to Mount Sinai through exodus road where you will visit St. Catherine Monastery and feel the wonder at the Room of Skulls, and the Chapel of the Burning Bush, before heading out to climb Moses Mountain.

Itinerary

Meet and assist upon arrival at Cairo International Airport then transfer and check in to the hotel with our constant care. In the evening you will be transferred to board the evening cruise along the River Nile in Cairo. Here you will get to enjoy the night city lights, entertainment by belly dancers as they perform two classic Arabic songs along with the Tanoura Show, as you savour an open buffet dinner. You will then be driven back to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

After breakfast, the tour guide is going to pick you up to go for the excursion to visit Giza Pyramids and the mysterious sphinx. You will have lunch in a good quality restaurant and then to Coptic Cairo (Old Cairo), one of the oldest areas of Cairo where you’ll get to explore its outstanding highlights like The Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue (where the well of Moses, the place where the mother of Moses put her son in a basket and placed him on the river to save him from the Pharaoh) and The Church of Abu Serga (where the Virgin Mary and the Christ Jesus stayed for three months through their journey in Egypt). You will then be driven back to your hotel for an overnight in Cairo.

Early in the morning after breakfast, and checking out from the hotel, you will be transferred via modern air-conditioned private vehicle/ bus to Mount Sinai through Suez Canal, which separates Africa (part of Egypt) and Asia. You will briefly stop at the Well of Moses, and the wilderness of sin as you drive down to the town of St. Catherine, having lunch on the way. Upon arrival to the hotel, you will check in, and get time to relax in readiness to climb Mount Sinai at midnight.

After breakfast, and checking out from the hotel, you will be driven to St. Catherine Monastery to see the Chapel of the Burning Bush, the Well of Jethro’s daughters (where Moses met his wife Zipporah daughter of Jethro), and the Transfiguration Church. You will then proceed to view the remains of the golden calf, and then transfer to Cairo along the exodus and Suez Canal route for lunch in a good restaurant. You will then check into the hotel in Cairo where you will have dinner, and spend the night.

After breakfast, you will leave for an excursion to the Egyptian Museum which exhibits a collection of over 120,000 treasured masterpieces, dating back to the ancient Egyptian and Greco-Roman period including the marvelous collection of the young King Tutankhamen. You will then be driven to Coptic Cairo (Old Cairo), one of the oldest areas of Cairo where you’ll get to explore its outstanding highlights like The Hanging Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. After lunch in a local restaurant, you will move on to The Citadel of Saladin Al Ayouby, built by Saladin in 1176 to fortify Egypt from crusaders. It is now a complex of three mosques and four museums like the Mosque of Sultan El Nasser Mohamed “The Mosque with the Green Dome”, and the Great Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha, one of the major landmarks of Cairo which occupies a huge space, has beautifully decorated walls, as well as remarkable domes and minarets. You will then head to Khan El Khalil Bazaar, the largest of its kind in the Middle East, and as you walk through the narrow streets you will find workshops and stalls selling all manner of souvenirs ranging from woodwork, glassware and leather goods to perfumes, fabrics and Pharaonic curios. You will then be taken back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

After breakfast, and check out you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for the final transfer.

Prices are quoted in US Dollars per person, per trip and remain valid throughout the year except during Christmas, New Year and Easter holidays.

BOOKING POLICY

We require a low down payment of just 10% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, therefore, making your booking a risk-free investment.

TIPPING

It is a customary attitude of expressing one's satisfaction for good services rendered to him by staff on duty. We advise that if you are willing to offer it, this would be great and if not, you are not obliged to do it.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:

From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to the airline’s cancellation policy.
