Itinerary
Meet and assist upon arrival at Cairo International Airport then transfer to the hotel.
Early in the morning, visit Giza pyramids and the mysterious sphinx. you then proceed to visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, some mastaba’s (ancient tombs) for nobles, and the Dr. Lower Museum at Saqqara. Lunch in between then transfer to Giza Railway station or bus station to take the VIP train or the VIP bus to Luxor.
Exquisite Egypt’s tour guide will meet and assist at railway station then transfer you to the boat to refresh and get a coffee or tea and meet the tour guide to start excursion to visit Karnak temple which is among a series of temples built in different reigns. It is the most contributed and functioning temple in the world and the greatest example of worship in the history dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. You will then return to the boat for check in, lunch and have some rest. Sunset tour to Luxor temple is best in the evening because of the lights. It was built by Amenhotep III in the 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty. Dinner at the boat, and overnight in Luxor.
Early morning tour to the western bank of Luxor. Visit the Valley of the Kings where you will see the well preserved tombs belonging to the kings of the new kingdom including the great ruler Ramses III, Mernptah and the child King Tut Ankh Amun. You will visit the El-Deir el Bahari Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18thDynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C). She is the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. You will pass by the Colossi of Memnon which are remains of the Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III. Back to the boat and get the lunch on board. Then sail to Edfu with afternoon tea time, get your dinner and enjoy with the disco party and take overnight in Edfu.
After breakfast, you will visit the Edfu temple located 123 km north of Aswan on the West Bank of the Nile. It dates back to the Ptolemaic Period and was dedicated to the worship of god. It is one of the most beautiful Egyptian temples distinguished by its huge splendid structure that blends Paranoiac and Greek architecture. Its grandeur competes with Luxor temples and is the second largest temple after Karnak temples. You will then proceed to Kom Ombo Temple located in Kom Ombo town, 45km north of Aswan. This temple was built on a hillside overlooking the Nile, and was constructed in the Ptolemaic roman era for the worship of two god’s, Horus to the right and Sobek to the left, that why the temple has two corridors and two sanctuaries as opposed to other temples which have one corridor and one sanctuary. You will then sail to Aswan as you enjoy dinner and the Galabeya party on board. Overnight in Aswan.
After breakfast, you will leave for an excursion tour to Aswan where you will discover one of the most important cities in Egypt starting at the with High Dam, an engineering miracle constructed in 1960 to protect Egypt from the annual Nile floods, which is also an important source of water and electricity. You will then head to the Philae Temple of Goddess ISIS, one of the greatest temples in Egypt which occupies about a quarter of the island and has huge complete pylons and beautiful surroundings. You will visit the Unfinished Obelisk which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. It is believed that this obelisk belonged to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty and the royal wife of King Tuthmosis II. She also had a temple on the west bank of Luxor. You will return to the boat for lunch then in the afternoon, you will enjoy a sailing expedition on the Nile by the Felucca around Elephantine Island then onward to visit the Kitchener’s Botanical Gardens known for its rich array of subtropical, exotic, and rare plants and Elephantine island which is the largest island of Aswan area. Elephantine is Greek for elephant and it is believed that the island got this name because it was a major ivory trading center. You will then be driven back to the boat to have dinner and overnight Aswan.
Check out, and store luggage at the boat till departure time. You will then depart on a 3-hour drive from Aswan to Abu Simbel via air condition van. Upon arrival, you will see the Colossi Temple of Abu Simbel initially built by King Ramses II and recently saved from inundation of the Nile waters. The most spectacular aspect of this temple is its setting on the solid rock above the banks of the Nile River. It is believed that the axis of the temple was positioned by the ancient Egyptian architects in such a way that every year on February 22nd and October 22nd, the rays of the sun would penetrate the sanctuary and illuminate the sculptures on the back wall, except for the Statue of Ptah, the god connected with the Underworld, who always remained in the dark. These dates are allegedly the King's birthday and coronation day. After picking luggage from the boat, you will be driven to Aswan Airport and catch your flight back to Cairo Airport, where Exquisite Egypt’s tour guide will meet you with organized transportation back to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Meet and assist upon arrival at Cairo Railway Station then transfer to one of the downtown hotels and use the lobby area to relax. You will then proceed on an excursion to the Egyptian Museum which exhibits a collection of over 120,000 treasured masterpieces, dating back to the ancient Egyptian and Greco-Roman period including the marvelous collection of the young King Tutankhamen. You will then be driven to Coptic Cairo (Old Cairo), one of the oldest areas of Cairo where you’ll get to explore its outstanding highlights like The Hanging Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. After lunch in a local restaurant, you will move on to The Citadel of Saladin Al Ayouby, built by Saladin in 1176 to fortify Egypt from crusaders. It is now a complex of three mosques and four museums like the Mosque of Sultan El Nasser Mohamed “The Mosque with the Green Dome”, and the Great Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha, one of the major landmarks of Cairo which occupies a huge space, has beautifully decorated walls, as well as remarkable domes and minarets. You will then be driven to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight home.

BOOKING POLICY
We require a low down payment of just 10% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, therefore, making your booking a risk-free investment.
TIPPING
It is a customary attitude of expressing one's satisfaction for good services rendered to him by staff on duty. We advise that if you are willing to offer it, this would be great and if not, you are not obliged to do it.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:
- From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to the airline’s cancellation policy.
